I watch “The Amazing Race” (TAR). It’s about the only reality tv show I care to watch. All of the others seem to be about voting and drama. Who said what to who, and who you form an alliance with.
TAR isn’t so much like that. You can try to form alliances and stuff, but in the end, if you’re dumb, if you’re slow, you’ll be last, and then you’re gone.
I can’t help it. I loved the original Battlestar way back in the day, and I loved the re-imagining.
So I just watched the latest episode of Californication. Sheez is this show ever starting to suck. I figure I’ll give another episode or two and then I am deleting it from my list of DVR shows.
So I just watched the show “Salt”. Pretty good flick, except that I can’t tell if they tried to leave it open for a sequel or not.
Give it a watch if you have the time. It’s out of theaters, so you pretty much have to buy the dvd, wait for it to come on HBO, or do what I did, and get it on Netflix.

they’re not movies per se, but i really enjoy sunday nights because “true blood” and “entourage” come on.
so i’ve had some off time recently. been slow. i’ve been sleeping like a mo fo.
i’ve said it before. i’m a little fond of the vampire genre. movies, books, history, myths. i like them.
I’ve been following some shows produced by non mainstream networks. The
first of these I started watching was Rome.
so i’m reading rumors now that bsg will break for the season after this friday until next year!

i love battlestar galactica.
they do some really neat stuff with members of the original cast like the original apollo character (richard hatch) playing tom zarek in the new. they also investigate some really tough tough issues, such as pre-emptive war, revenge, rape, torture, execution of civilians during wartime by the military. more typical human issues as well, like trust and honor, family and friend.
it’s good stuff.
