so one of my friends has talked me into buying this for my ps3. i hope it’s good. i still have a long way to go on “destroy all humans: path of the furon” and just received “mirror’s edge”. so don’t know when i’ll be playing that thing.

so i’m really loving my ipod. i didn’t plan on it but i am downloading season 3 of battlestar galactica as it iars and watching it that way.

i hear that phone companies like motorola and nokia are investigating the feasablity of putting mp3 players into their phones.
i hope apple is smart and starts putting phones into their ipods……
yeah. i haven’t hardly spent a dime while i’ve been over here.
i guess that’s not really true. i pay for food, gas, phone, whatever. but i haven’t really been buying much else. and i’ve been making a nice paycheck.
i’ve just been paying off bills, which is a really good feeling. liquidating credit card debt.
i’m changing things around a little. i’m going to start an ‘international’ group on my sidebar for my non american links. for those of you who don’t know. i use my links primarily as my means of my own personal readings, and things i like.
so if you move around, don’t worry, it’s just my way of organizing things for me.
my skins are back, and work now. you can pick one and stay with it.

some certain person keeps using the wikipedia site on the www as a reference in his comment rants here. somebody keeps doing it in my grad class too! he got the doctoral smackdown today. was told ‘it’s not very reliable’ and ‘you can even edit it yourself’.
wikipedia sucks. i may even have to go in and add a little somethin somethin myself…..
i have dishnetwork. i really love the recording function it has. they call it a dvr, but it is increasingly becoming known as tivo. tivo actually does more than my dvr does.
i need the tivo. stations are starting to mees with times their shows start and finish. just a little and not all of the time. just when i want to record.
case in point. f’n local san anotnio pre-empted the amazing race 9 last night for a pre-game to a spurs clippers game. who cares about basketball? i mean, go spurs go! but i have no idea how they’re even doing. i care that much. it pissed me off that my show got preempted, but not that much. i just thumbed through the browser and found TAR9 at 2 in the morning. same channel. so i set it to record.
this morning i try to watch it. it started 10 minutes late. 10 minutes into the timeslot i set it to record. so i didn’t get to see the last ten minutes of the show.
that pissed me off.
fx does this too, almost every week with ‘the shield’. i knew it and adjusted the time recorder accordingly.
why are tv stations messing with me? because ya know, they’re only doing it to me.
my old box was acting hokie. so i went down to altex yesterday and fronted the money for some new components.
athlon 64 3200. asus a8v-se (they were out of the deluxe). 2 gigs ram. new 550 power supply (needed the 24 pin).
rebuilding my os right now. the windows update thing takes a while.
so i have 4 computers in my house right now. last night, none of them were working.
