so i was cooking tonight.

i offhandedly checked the expiration date on a jar of mushrooms i was about to dump into my bolognese sauce.

“best if used by june 2006″

sigh.

so i start going through all of my canned goods and other stuff.

sigh

i’ve been gone so long that 75% of the food in my house is expired.

time to go shopping.
