so, i’m back in taekwondo class. i get tired pretty quick, but am starting to catch some wind. i’m taking mixed martial arts twice a week. that class takes me to a whole new level of exhaustion!
the laying on the floor gasping for air like a fish out of water kind of exhaustion.
i’m starting to improve though. little bit. metabolism is rising. and that is the key! once i start burning calories at a faster rate, it’s all downhill.
and just fyi. i take class at vuongs martial arts center in crofton, maryland. they teach taekwondo to kids and adults, as well as shido kan shorin ryu karate for adults only. they also have a cardio kickboxing class which i take sometimes for cardio training. sometimes they call it aerobic kickboxing. it’s really kind of like tae-bo, except that thy actually have bags for you to actually punch and kick. they also have a class called leaps and bounds for the really small ones. just to get the little ones out and playing. they just added a yoga class. i haven’t tried that yet but will.
anybody in the area, and feeling like trying a class or two, stop on by. they get loads of people (300 plus students currently) surrounding aras include crofton, bowie, gambrills, millersville, severna park, severn, and davidsonville
