Yeah, ’tis True!
yeah. i can hear mortars.
they’re a ways off though. fortuneately, we are centrally enough located to BIAP that we are pretty much out of range (crosses fingers). to get close enough to mortar where i am sitting, they have to move out of neighborhoods and out into an open field.
and they get cut in half by machine gun fire. they no likey, they shoot mortars from safe distance.
result? mortar impacts that nobody acknowledges. still weird to me.
yes this building is “hardened”. where i work is hardened as well. my CHU (civilian housing unit) is not. i’ll post pics of it if i ever get a chance.
oh. no internet at all in my chu yet. none.
that’s why the lack of posting … anything. been watching movies. that is all.
work is ok so far. although i did get banned from the unclas internet last night for reading blogs. i guess michelle malkin is frowned upon?
anyway. it is 7:30 in the am. i work nights. time for bed!
Please don’t get blown up!

Well, Malkin is one of those people who lead the country in the wrong, anti-socialist direction….

john, i have every intention of not getting blown up.
right now though, the mortars? small potatoes. thing that worries me the most are the ugandan guards.

You didn’t brag about your professional credentials to the Ugandans, did you?
