  1. Then how does one explain the social impact of the likes of Paris Hilton, Pamela Anderson, and Jenna Jameson? In American society, they are all icons worshiped by the entertainment and media establishments. And the thing that propelled them to that status was their public appearance (through video, stolen or otherwise) sans clothing.
