Filed under: Humor — mlah @ 9:03 am

it’s hard for me to believe that it has been 25 years since john belushi died.

for you youngsters, go rent animal house and be amazed. watch the original saturday night live which produced stars like eddie murphy and dan akroyd also gave us john belushi.

samurai bakery lives on!

we have all missed a lot of laughs because of his passing.

  2. awww That’s so sad! He was so funny! And Animal House was SUCH a good movie! I watched that for the first time with my dad, and thus got my very first drinking lesson.

I can’t believe its been 25 years either! He was so much funnier than a lot of the shmucks we have today.

John – you seriously haven’t seen animal house before? ….and you’re in college?

  4. Animal House is good, Blues Brothers is better. I’ve been backstage at the House of Blues and LA and there’s a really cool mural of John done in an iconic style. St. Jake!

  5. OK. A little more. I was actually thinking about him the other day and what it would be like if he was alive and I’m afraid he’d be doing some shitty movie like Norbit.

  6. I grew up on John and the gang on SLN, the first time I cried for the death of a famous person was Gilda. They shaped my life thinking and my humor. I will always miss John, his brother will never be in the same league.
