Moving
well, i’ve been logged off for a couple of days. i moved across base.
i now live in in a ‘connex’, which is little more than a tin trailer. i get half.
but i now have my internet hooked up again, paid through july. and i even have cable tv. i have a wall locker. and the bathrooms are downstairs. i don’t have to hustle through 200 yards of snow and ice to get there.
and speaking of. the weather is turning nicer. and yeah, i’m knocking on wood.
i just got a hair cut, which really means i paid some kyrgyzi chick 11 dollars to massage my neck and shoulders. it’s the only thing there is to do here.
i’ll be posting again!
Something about you knocking on wood, and talking about getting a massage in the next breath just doesn’t sound right.

This is making me laugh, because your existence sounds strangely like that of my husband when he was in Iraq. OF course, he didn’t live in a sexy connex…he had a tent. And, the hair cuts/neck cracking sessions were two bucks.
