"Now if you look at Canada, they’d let anyone in (and you can over to Canada or vice versa from Montana), in fact several of the 9/11 terrorists came to the United States through Canada. But in the next 10 years, you’ll need a visa or a passport to gain entry to either Canada or Mexico."

You are a liar. NO 911 terrorists came from Canada. They didn't have to. The U.S. welcomed them with open arms. Go pedal your lies to some other bunch of morons, fuckwit.

Ok, Jen, maybe so. I just know that for my last 2 trips to Canada and back in the past few years, they gave me one stern-ass warning about not having my passport or original birth certificate. I took the hint the first time and they were happier with me the second time. Maybe they're just getting us ready for the 2007 deadline.

From CBC News

Canadians without a passport will be barred from entering the United States after Dec. 31, 2006, unless they have a special U.S. "laser visa" border crossing card that includes a fingerprint or other "biometric identifier" such as a retinal scan. Those cards are issued mostly to Mexicans who want to enter the U.S.

Currently, Canadians and Americans are able to enter the United States with little more identification than a driver's licence or a birth certificate, though a passport has sometimes made it simpler to satisfy immigration officers at the border.

That's not true trick... it's 2007 is when this law will be put into effect and the next year after you won't be able to get back into the US w/o one. Plus do you know where all these illegals are at? Oh, right you don't!! They could be Mohammad the Terrorist for all we know. We can't afford anymore f ups.

In the next 50 years, half of Texas's population will be Mexican-Americans. Is that right? If it's done legally, yes. I think anyone and their mother should come here if they come here LEGALLY.

The system we currently have is too complex by the way.

i so totally agree with enforcing laws on the books. congress is rapidly becoming the UN. they pass resolutions, but don't enforce them. at least not in some terms.

reconquista gus. learn the term, love it. aztlan will not be gained by cession. far fetched now, but do the trend analysis. what will the demographic makeup of the border states be in 30 years? now think about 15.
