jason just got back from aau senior nationals. he has a black eye and a bum leg. lost in the second round.
he and i are trying to get a few other of the bruisers from our school to start taking road trips on fridays, to other schools. get a little new blood for fighting.
my first week here there was a girl down here from austin. she just comes down once in a long while to work with some different people.
we’re going to make it up there. maybe to houston. we want to spar the lopez’. and that’s a death wish!
yesterday, i was alittle sick. nothing bad. i just didn’t feel well. so instead of doing my yard work, i tackled an inside the house project.
my house has this nice little desk built into the breakfast nook. it’s been covered with a ton of paperwork ever since i moved in. once in a while i get froggy and clean some of it out, but never all of the way.
it occurred to me that my blogging has gone down a bit since i moved here from maryland. i blame my floorplan.
i’ve always lived in little one bed apaertments, or something close to it. i usually used the dining room as a computer room.
not in this monstrosity. i use an upstairs bedroom as my computer room. which is why i think i blog less often.
yesterday i cleaned this little desk off and set my laptop up on the desk.
we’ll see if i can start doing this close to daily again.

well, muslim terrorists finally got around to hitting london. everyone was expecting an attack on the brits for their aid in the war on terror. and that meant london. in a way, i’m actually a little surprised. i was beginning to think they might hit a different target. in england i mean. liverpool and birmingham are off of the beaten path, and might be a little easier for the jihadis to hit.
but that introduces all kinds of other logistical problems. blending in may be more difficult, safe houses fewer and further between. distances to borders are greater.
so london it was.
i have mixed feelings today. i’m not outraged. more resolute than anything else.

there’re only two reality shows i watch. i’ve seen an episode here and there of the others. but none of them have really entertained me.

man, i just read my credit card bill for the first time in a while. usually i just pay it, keep track of the balance, and watch the charges. amex blue pulled the typical manuever on me and jumped my interest rate up. it went from 12 to 28!
i’ll be transferring that balance and closing my account.
