ABC

flash polls.

foxnews was broadcasting some results of flash polls after the debate. they cited an abc flash poll that gave the edge to kerry as winning the third debate, despite a slight majority of republicans in the polling pool.

does anybody have any faith in anything abc says? after the halperin (spelling?) memo, what do you think are the odds that some enterprising newsman skewed the results just a little to where he thought us poor dumb voters ought to be?

nitwits.

they put the carpet in my house. looks good. they have also put the fence up. it needs cleaning inside, my water softener, the garage door opener, sod, and the sprinkler system. then it’s all done.

i was kind of sweet on this one girl recently. tonight she raised a severe warning flag. she doesn’t eat beef, cuz like…. ‘that would put me on the same level as the nazis who killed the jews.’

next.

  1. you can’t put any stock in the abc poll or any other. you have people like kos playing with the numbers. Whatever. Anyone who watched the debate knows who won.

  2. How can you have results of a poll less than an hour after the debate is over?

    Congrats on the house.

Sux about the chick. But…you’ll find another one. Who eats meat. Heh.

  3. Warning flag? RUN!!!!

A friend of mine was not for W’s re-election, and he and his wife watched the first debate. They thought that W won, and JfK looked like a fool. They payed attention to the substance of their words, in other words, and were not distracted by flash and style. They woke the next day to hear all the news organizations saying how JfK wiped the floor with W at the debate. They honestly wondered whether they saw the same debate as all those poll respondants.

The 3rd debate was so obviously a victory for W. But the Dems at best can admit to a tie (those who don’t insist their boy won). So sad.

And why the gratuitous spotlight shining on young Ms Cheney? By both the boy wonder Edwards and his daddy Kerry?

  4. mlah, you need to click on over to the Democratic Underground to get the real scoop on the debates. Might even help you win points with the vegan lady.

(Pinch hitting for Gus, who must be busy cheering for the Yankees to continue tromping on the Red Sox, since he’s so quiet lately)

  5. Kerry kicked W’s ass every time, most especially the first one! My sharpest impression of how W carried himself is that HE IS A BAD ACTOR. His grimacing freaks me out– the “kindly” smile of a man whose heart is actually full of hate. His halting, barely comprehensible Engrish bespeaks his not-ready-for-prime-time intellect (no wonder you guys like him). W is for Weak.
    Go Sox!

  6. funny how f-in cheney’s team is the RED sox.

i understood w perfectly. kerry’s botox frozen straight face is there to hide the shifty eyed glances of someone looking over his shoulder. afraid of being caught for all he does wrong, like dodge taxes.

no wonder he wants to raise taxes on the rich, he knows it won’t affect him!
