A Belt of a Different Color

yeah, i got my belt tonight.

dot stole my thunder. she tested for black belt like three years ago, or something. she had a couple of things she needed to do / complete before chien would award her the black belt. she completed the last of those just in time to get her black belt on the same night i got my red.

rats. i’ve been teasing her forever that i’d make black belt before she did.

i just lost.

congratulations to her though. she walked the walk, and can now talk the talk. she earned her belt.

now, some of you may be a little confused by my last entry.

i have discovered that some stars have taken up blogging.

the bastards, they’re trying to steal my thunder too. moving in on my turf and all.

there is a personage floating around the interent who goes by ‘rance’. apparently this person is a ’star’, or so i’ve heard. God only knows who. i have no idea. i was kind of looking into this when i stumbled across the defamer link that i posted about below.

i’ve seen the defamer post a few comments, and he has a blog. pretty sharp guy from his writing. he likes to poke holes in balloons as far as i can tell. can’t say i wouldn’t do the same. but here’s the kicker. this guy is a serious net denizen. and nobody has a clue who he is. he is serious anonymous. and the site i linked to in my last post looked like they were making a correlation between him and some guy named ken layne. whoever that is.

let down for me. i was hoping the defamer was dan rather or someone i had heard of.

See, I knew you would get it. We all had faith in you. But I’m a little disappointed that you got beat out by a woman!! :)

I’m still not up on this blogger stuff, but I wonder if “rance” knows that nothing gets kept secret for too long on the net.

    Congrats!!!!!!

Do you remember the many times I told you not to do something, that you would suffer some dire consequence. You went ahead and did it anyway and invariably suffered the dire consequences. Now I can tell you I told you so and you achieved a good consequence- awarded the red belt. I told you, you would do well and get the belt, and you did. WELL DONE” savagemodel99
