The Basque condemn the bombing in Madrid. Photo from Fox News

i’ve been through atocha train station in madrid 5-10 times. it’s the main train station in madrid. there are many others around the city, but if you are traveling interstate, the ave’ leaves from atocha.

i took the ave’ to and from seville into madrid several times. i don’t know exactly where the bombs went off, but it’s still a little chilling for me to think about. it’s been bugging me on and off all day.

first impulse was that ETA, a basque separatist group had carried out the bombings. But now, it seems that alqaidah is claiming responsibility. They’re really getting on my nerves now. 10 bombs in 30 minutes.

yes, the twin towers upset me to no end. but i expected no less from them. we were soft and unprepared. they took advantage of that. it merely served to set, and steel my resolve.

the continuing bombs are getting on my nerves. i don’t think it’s the kind of unsettling AlQaidah had in mind. yeah, i know, look out! they must really be scared now. big bad dave is unsettled.

AlQaidah (and other terrorist groups for that matter) use terror as a tool to an end. they believe that if they strike enough fear, through wanton acts of horrific proportions, that we will be too intimidated to oppose them.

then they can realize their own foreign policy goals of wahhabi hegemony across the middle east and the further spread of islam throughout the reat of the world. they want all of us; non-muslims, to become ‘Dhimmi’.

i am not intimidated. my patience has been exhausted. my tolerance is worn extremly thin.

and here is their dilemna.

i’m not abnormal. i mean, i think i’m just a pretty average joe, as far as americans go. sure, i’m better at a few things than most. and i suck at others, but don’t we all have our strengths and weaknesses.?

now, if the U.S., and the west in general, is pretty similar to me. then there is an extremely large amount of people who are all very tired of them. take another look at the pic up top. those are the BASQUE! they have had enough as well.

i lived in spain for almost 6 years as a guest of their king while i was in the navy. he is the very antithesis of the old axiom ‘absolute power corrupts absolutely’. king juan carlos holds absolute power in spain. he chooses to reign and allow the spanish people to govern themselves through a parliamentary process. the spaniards know, and respect him for his grace and temperance. he is the popular monarch charles of england will never be.

but at the snap of his fingers, that’s all gone. all of the civil liberties which would protect suspected alqaidah bombers, all of those civil guarantees they use against us at every turn simply vanish. just a spoken word.

and i just don’t think the spanish will even bat an eye right now.

la guardia is efficient. and will do their jobs. for king and country.

i know that some of the leaders of alqaidah are educated. didn’t they read any history? they bombed spanish?

i will be silently watching for the spanish inquiries into the root of this latest evil. i’ll be smiling the whole time, and waiting for El Rey to give alqaidah a shove of his own.

  3. Hey man, you gotta admit that the terroristas achieved a huge political change in Spain’s foreign policy by brining the Socialists to power — all as a result of the terror bombing campaign they laid on. Ruling party was leading in the polls, bam the bombs went off, and the Spanish electorate felt their bowels go to mush. Now they elect the Socialists who vow to be more like the French, and voila! Appeasement for the terrorists!

  4. read allahpundit. evidently, captured documents cite an alqaida plan to hit hit the spanish in iraq first, then in spain. purposely targeting their elections. they succeeded. i feel so sorry for the spanish. i liked it there so much.

but as allah says, spain is now islams bitch. bitch, go get me a sandwich, bitch.

they are totally monkey whipped by alqaida now.

i feel so sorry for them.

  5. Well, Spain (and the rest of Europe by extension) was granted a truce by Al Qaida. Wonder whether the down time will be used to plot election-time attacks in the U.S.?

  7. Laptops and BoyFriend Pillows

Last night Mlah posted a blog about a laptop pillow that’s become a hot selling item in Japan.

Ladies, never fear. Japan has not left you out. Another Japanese company came up with a pillow to comfort the ladies in their slumber as well.
